So excited to finally share one of my favorite gingham dresses. And you can probably tell why. I can’t get enough of the bow detail! One thing about this dress is that it is under $15! Can you believe that? It is definitely a steal. I wore this when we went to the farmer’s market in Stuart. I lived here for two years and I’ve always loved this small little beach town. I took these pictures in front of my favorite wine bar the Blue Door. If you are ever in the area you should definitely check it out! I wore this dress with these cute gold accent sandals for under $20, and my favorite monogrammed straw bag for under $40. Check out the full outfit of this green gingham dress below!
This month if I’ll be sharing all about our road trip and tips and tricks with traveling with a toddler. It really was such an amazing vacation, and very relaxing to unplug, connect with my family, and enjoy our surroundings. Now to be fair we only have one kiddo and for the most part he was very entertained just being outside and playing in the pool or at the beach. So let’s get back to the road trip, yep 36 hours on the road with our little guy and we survived. Haha I’m being dramatic when I say survived because we had a great time on the road. So what did Jayden do the whole time while we drove with no iPad or iPhone to entertain him? Well let me tell you. Here are some tips and tricks to an iPad/iPhone free road trip with a toddler.
Tomorrow we officially head out for our family vacation! This cutie is excited because he is going to Disney World! We can’t be more thrilled to be able to take our son to Disney World for the first time. It is one of our many stops in Florida. We will also be heading to Seaside, Jensen Beach, Jupiter, West Palm Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach and visiting all of our friends along the way. Five years ago I lived in Jensen Beach for two years and made some of my best friends out there. It is like a second home to me. The last time we visited I was 4 months pregnant with Jayden, and now that he is two it will be exciting to have him meet everyone for the first time. I’ve been preparing for this trip for over a month now, getting all the outfits ready for the hubs and little man. And as a mom on a budget I made sure to shop some deals at my favorite stores for my family. Below I’m sharing what we are packing for our trip and how you can shop on a budget too!
This past weekend for our Anniversary, my husband and I took a little weekend trip to Galveston. It was our first night away from our little man, and we wanted to make sure we enjoyed our kid free trip. Galveston is a great family vacation spot, but it also has some great places for couples, or people wanting to enjoy a more mature environment. One place I would recommend is the Spot. It is a two story venue that has a separate upstairs restaurant and bar area for adults 21 and up. I love the tropical tree house themed bar and it’s seaside view of the beach. It’s located right on the strand and walking distance to the beach. The food menu has the traditional bar foods, burgers, tacos, and my favorite oysters! You can check out the rest of their menu here. The mixed drinks are great too. They all have an island feel, and although they don’t taste strong, watch out they will creep up on you. I could only have one, any more and my husband would have to carry me out of there. Definitely check it out if you are looking for some casual fun, and they have live bands at night. The party never stops at the SPOT.
