Last weekend, I attended the grand reopening at Francesca’s in Memorial City Mall. I love the open concepts and light airy feel. If you saw my Instastory you might have seen I was particularly fond of all the cool mother’s day shirts and gift ideas, and of course all the cat lover inspired home decor. Francesca’s is one of my favorite boutiques to shop for because of all of their unique and adorable home decor and accessories, and their fashion forward clothing styles for women. Check out my previous office decor post here, and my seasonal Christmas gift guide here with Francesca’s. Today I’ll be sharing some of my favorite maxi dresses from Francesca’s and give you an inside look at their brand new remodel.
This past weekend when my hubby and I were walking down the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, we stopped by this beautiful church to take pictures. We were drawn in by the cascading wall of green vines that grew on the side of the church. When we walked in we saw this beautiful fountain in the courtyard. It was like walking back in time. I love older churches and their architecture. This dress I wore had the most adorable oversized ruffle sleeves. It was the perfect summer dress for touring Chicago, and visiting a church. Below I have guest author Jenny Laws from London, sharing her simple checklist for summer dresses.
Hey guys, hope you are having a great week! Since I’ve gotten back from my trip last weekend, the little man and I have been under the weather these past couple of days. But I finally finished editing some of my outfits I wore this weekend, and I can’t wait to share with you this casual and comfy trendy summer look. I live in tank dresses in the summer. As a mom, tank dresses are a comfortable and cool alternative to shorts in this Texas summer heat. I wore this outfit on our road trip to Austin this past weekend. Below is more of how I styled this outfit this past weekend. And read more on my tips on how to style a tank dress, and some of my favorite tank dresses for summer.
