Hope you had a great Easter weekend! Our family hosted our annual Easter egg hunt and crawfish boil this weekend and it was so much fun celebrating with our loved ones. Easter is probably my favorite holiday. I love everything it stands for and even more so know that I am a mom. It reminds me how blessed and thankful I am to be here on earth. Today on the blog I wanted to share this cute spring look and how to style this pink satin duster for spring. Check out the look below!
Happy Wednesday everyone! Yesterday hubs and I had a wonderful date night to the rodeo. I love this time of year in Houston. Sorry for the late post. I know I usually have a post up on Mondays, but I had such a busy weekend, I wasn’t able to finish. If you were following along on Instagram, then you might have known I had one of my biggest dreams come true when I got to attend an exclusive Spring Launch event with my idol Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper this past weekend. I will share more details of our weekend later this week. Also, I have a really exciting feature tomorrow which I will share at the end of the post, but first I wanted to share this great everyday faux leather moto jacket for under $70 and tips on how you can transition your leather jacket into Spring!
I’ve been dying to share with you this adorable bell sleeve crochet top from Evereve. They sent this to me in one of their TRENDSEND boxes and I instantly fell in love! I can’t get over the sleeve detail, plus it is the perfect blush pink for Valentine’s Day. Can you believe Valentine’s Day is only a month away? Check out how I styled this bell sleeve crochet top below!
Thank you La Table Houstonfor hosting us for brunch. As always all thoughts and opinions are mine alone. Thank you for supporting those who support this blog.
This past weekend I hosted a blogger brunch at the La Table Houston with my favorite boss babes. La Table is a French inspired restaurant that has four different dinning experience in one. For our event we chose to have a casual dining experience at Marche in the outdoor patio. The French inspired decor and menu is a blogger brunch dream. We were served a tasting menu that incorporated Marche’s new seasonal menu features lighter fare including new vegan and vegetarian options. Everything was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Check out more of the brunch at La Table and details of my spring inspired brunch outfit below. Continue reading
Gosh this weekend went by so fast, and this week will go by even faster. It is a busy week for this momma! I’ve got some exciting things coming up including prepping for a church fashion show, going to this fashion show, and then Saturday I have my annual blogger fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network at Kendra Scott. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by! I would love to meet you. You can view more of the event details here. Spring has definitely sprung, and with the warmer weather out, the white wide leg trousers are also making a big come back. I can’t get enough of these types of wide leg trouser pants (check out my previous post here and here). And being petite and only 5’2″, I love how much taller they make me look. Check out how I styled these white wide leg trouser pants for spring below.
We are here at the Woodlands Resort enjoying our last day. So thankful to have gotten the opportunity to experience this resort. If you missed any Snapchat or Instastories, don’t worry I will be doing a full recap on Youtube, so make sure you are subscribed! Today I am keeping it short and sweet with this fun bell sleeve combo to kick off Spring Break!
This past weekend I attended my dearest friend, sister, PIC, and fellow Houston Blogger Style the Girl‘s baby shower. I was so excited to share this moment with her and all her dear friends and family to honor her little girl Sofia Everly. It was everything you would imagine a little girl’s baby shower would be, filled with pink, lace, and all things shabby chic. As her Phi Mu sister we were excited to welcome the first legacy in our group of friends. All of our other sisters, including myself, had boys, and we ready to add a girl in the group.
