Can you believe we are only a couple of days from the New Year. This is officially my last post of the year! Today I just wanted to round-up some of my favorite moments and some milestones I am very proud of with my blog. This year was a big one, and it was a year of first, from my first sponsored international trip, to my first trip to New York Fashion Week and getting to be a hair extra on E News with Marianna Hewitt! I was able to accomplish so many of my goals including doubling my Pinterest, and Instagram following, to reaching 10k views on one of my YouTube videos! I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a talent agent, partnered in some amazing events, and even tripled my blogging income! But most of all I was able to grow my brand, and grow my network by meeting so many amazing people along the way. I honestly couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone who has followed along on this journey. So thank you, thank you for being part of this journey with me and I hope you enjoy this recap of my blogging year in 2017.
2017 in Review
My first ever international travel collaboration. It was a dream come true to be able to work with this resort. The Dreams Resort was the prettiest resort I had ever been to. We were able to stay in a gorgeous ocean front suite with our very own infinity pool! You can view more in this post here, and check out the video below!
My most emotional post. I shared my heart on what it was like to grow up with a sister with disabilities.
I had my first blog survey and was brought to tears by all your sweet and encouraging messages. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the whole journey, but if you remember your why then you can always find your way back.
Can’t believe I will be 30 next year! I definitely learned a lot in my 20’s I can’t imagine what my 30’s will be like! I am looking forward to this next decade in my life.
It took me a year, but I finally finished my office! This another goal of mine this year that I was so proud of. I love every little detail of my office. You can view more of the post here.
Our family Vacation:
We had the best summer vacation with our little man. We finally visited our friends back in Florida so Jayden could meet some of my dearest friends. We also got to take him to Disney world for the first time!
My most emotional posts:
This post in probably my favorite and I get teary eye reading it. This year has been as special year for me and Jayden. Our mother and son bond grows every year, and every year I can’t help but think I am so blessed to be his mommy. He is my pride and joy, and I don’t know if even all the words I have written can truly describe the immense feeling of love I have for my son. All I can describe it is the ever lasting love Jesus had for us. No matter what, I would give up my life for my child in a heart beat. He is everything to me.
One of my most controversial post after Hurricane Harvey. With all the tragedies going on in this world lately so many people were dismissing others faith. So I shared my thoughts and experiences in this post here.
Sharing my thoughts on my best friend, and my number one supporter of this little dream of mine.
New York FASHION WEEK!
I can’t begin to explain how amazing my first experience was! All I can say is it was epic! I still look back and felt like I was living a dream! Seriously the best experience of my life and a check off of my bucket list.
