Happy Friday everyone! It is officially summer and we are back from an amazing kid free vacation to Tulum and Akumal. We had so many fun adventures, lots of eating, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. If you were watching my Instastories, then you know how absolutely amazing it was. Today I just wanted to share a quick Instagram recap of my vacation that you can easily shop. I will be sharing full outfit and day-to-day recaps as well as a video and travel guide in the next couple of weeks. But until then you can get the first look of our vacation here. Check out some of our photos of our trip and details of my outfits below!

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great week! Today on the blog I wanted to share with you my favorite Instagram worthy brunch spots in Houston. I get this question a lot, and more specifically on “cute/pretty” brunch spots in Houston, because lets face it we go as much for the food as we do the ambience. And there is nothing like taking a cute food picture in a picturesque setting. As a blogger who loves to eat and try new things, I am always on the hunt for cute places to eat at and also take pictures at. Last year around this time I did a previous round-up of the most Instagram worthy brunch spots in Houston you can check out here, which are still some of my favorite places to go to! But I thought I would continue with the series with all the new brunch spots that have been to this year that I HIGHLY recommend you check out. Check out my top picks of Instagram worthy brunch spots in Houston below!
Hi everyone! If you read my last post then you know I just got my breast augmentation surgery. I’m currently in recovery mode so this post might come to you later than normal. But it’s been a month since we were on our family vacation to Colorado for New Years, and I wanted to share with you all the details of our trip and to answer some questions you might have about what to do when traveling with a toddler. First of all thank you Town of Frisco for all the wonderful activities and restaurants during our stay, and for Toyota for providing us a Toyota Sequoia for our trip. Check out our Summit Country Travel Guide and tips for visiting Colorado with a toddler below:
Sorry for the late post! It’s been a very eventual couple of days with it snowing in Houston, plus I’m sharing some excited news and BIG things happening soon on Instastories. Make sure to check it out, because you don’t want to miss it! Today I am finally recapping parts of our trip we took a couple of weeks ago with our family. We stopped in New Mexico for a couple of days and were able to visit Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos and saw some stunning views, immersed ourselves in the Native American culture, and tasted the best and hottest chili or our lives. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Check out my 5 Things You Must Absolutely Do When You Visit New Mexico when traveling with a toddler.
Sorry I missed Wednesday’s post. With the snow day we had, and some really exciting news I had, it through me off schedule. But today is a special day because our little man turns three today! I cannot believe how time flies when you have kids. I just can’t believe how big Jayden is getting. This past year he has done tumbling, soccer, snowboarding, and currently in swimming, and next month he will start t-ball! This year will definitely be an active one for our little guy. He has so much energy, and he is such a team player. I am one proud momma to see my little guy grow up to be such a smart and sweet little boy. He amazes me everyday with everything he does, and he certainly pushes us to be the best parents we can be. This past month my husband and I went over some family goals we had for this New Year, and today on the blog I am sharing those goals with you plus our beautiful family pictures in Colorado! Can you believe this is a frozen lake behind us? Check out more below!
We are officially off on our holiday vacation. You can keep up with us and our trip on Instagram or on Facebook. Today I am sharing what we are bringing on our trip and these Sorel boots that I will be taking with me. I can’t believe we will be in snow and in the mountains for the whole week and for New Years. We made sure to pack extra layers and cold weather accessories to keep us warm and dry on our trip. Check out our holiday vacation packing list below.
This past weekend we had the opportunity to spend the weekend at the newest luxury hotel in Houston, the Hotel Alessandra, for a little holiday staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Did you know I never knew about staycations until I became a mom? Let’s face it, when you have kids it is hard to get away for long periods of time, especially finding someone to watch your child for longer than a weekend. But sometimes as parents you just need a weekend to getaway and recharge, and just focus on your other half. Staycations are perfect for those moments, whether it be for your anniversary, just because, or in our case a weekend away to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday. Today I am sharing all about our luxurious weekend at the Hotel Alessandra and the perfect outfit for a night out on the town.
Happy Monday everyone!
