Happy Friday, everyone! This post might come a little later than usual. Yesterday we had a busy day with our mommy friends and went to the cutest brunch place made specially for moms with kids. There’s a park and so much room for activities, plus the food is really good too. Click here to see where we went. Today is a special post as we head into Mother’s Day weekend. I love sharing what motherhood means to me every year because it’s always fun to look back and read my thoughts back then and how they have evolved through the years. You can see my first, second, and third Mother’s Day post here. Today I wanted to share my thoughts about what it means to be strong as a mother and the one force that drives this unfathomable strength is a mother’s love. I once questioned Jesus love for us and the sacrifices he made years ago, but it wasn’t until I became a mother that I realized what that love is. I’ve never loved a man more than myself, but the day my son came into this world, there isn’t a day I wouldn’t give up my life for him. He is everything to me, my pride and joy, my greatest blessing, he is why I am the strong as a mother.
Happy Friday everyone! Who excited for the weekend? I know I am, it’s my birthday weekend and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone! Today I’m sharing a fun post with my hottie of a hubby, and talking about our fitness goals and the benefits of working out with your significant other! Y’all what if I told you I fell in love with my husband at the gym. In fact I’m sure it was spotting him at the squat rack that I thought, man look at that butt. Haha, but for real though, my hubby get’s it from his mama! Plus I like having something extra to hold on to back there. Ok I’m going to stop before I embarrass my husband even more, but aside from enjoying a good view of his backside when we work out, here are six reasons why I love working out with my hubby, and the benefits of working out with your significant other.

Happy Friday everyone! Who is ready for the weekend? With summer only a couple of months away I’ve teamed up with Banana Boat ® to share my top five summer outdoor activities I like to do with my busy little toddler. When school is out, we always try to find ways to stay active and have fun so we aren’t cooped up inside all day. But I also know the importance of keeping my little guy protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays and that’s why I use Banana Boat® Kids Sport Sunscreen. Check out our top five summer outdoor activities below and why I choose Banana Boat® Kids Sport Sunscreen to protect my little one from the sun’s harmful rays.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today my handsome hubby is guest starring on today’s blog as we share our favorite budget friendly daytime date ideas with Zappos x Rockport. As parents we don’t always get the luxury to having the night out to ourselves, or the unlimited budget we use to have before becoming parents. But that doesn’t stop us from getting a little creative on how we spend our alone time together. Even if it means having our dates during the day when the little guy is in school. Check out our 5 Budget Friendly Daytime Date Ideas, and our date outfit with our Rockport shoes from Zappos.

Happy Monday everyone! Hope ya’ll had a wonderful Easter Weekend. It was a busy weekend, but we are so thankful we got to spend time with our family. But now that the weekend is over its back to our normal schedule. I wish I could say it wasn’t just as busy, but it might even be busier. Between juggling my work schedule, Jayden’s school and activities, and then managing to coordinate time with my husband with his crazy work schedule, well it gets pretty hectic. Today I am my sharing tips on how I keep my family schedule organized. Thankfully I just purchased the new Samsung Galaxy 9+ from Target to help me organize my family schedule. Check out my tips below!
Happy Friday everyone! This mama is excited for all the fun activities we have planned this weekend, but I think I am more excited for my alone time. Today I am getting a little personal with you, in my no judgement zone, about why this mama needs her weekends off. Sometimes I feel we have this perception that moms have to do it all, when the reality is not the case. We all struggle and we all need a little help and that’s why I am sharing my mom confession. Plus I had to share these adorable photos of my little guy. He is seriously a little goof ball just like his daddy. I can never keep a straight face around this boy. Ya’ll he is getting so big, and recently he keeps correcting me when I call him my baby. He says he’s my big boy! Uggh it breaks my heart a little when says that. Check out these photos and more of my post below!
Hi everyone! If you read my last post then you know I just got my breast augmentation surgery. I’m currently in recovery mode so this post might come to you later than normal. But it’s been a month since we were on our family vacation to Colorado for New Years, and I wanted to share with you all the details of our trip and to answer some questions you might have about what to do when traveling with a toddler. First of all thank you Town of Frisco for all the wonderful activities and restaurants during our stay, and for Toyota for providing us a Toyota Sequoia for our trip. Check out our Summit Country Travel Guide and tips for visiting Colorado with a toddler below:
Sorry for the late post! It’s been a very eventual couple of days with it snowing in Houston, plus I’m sharing some excited news and BIG things happening soon on Instastories. Make sure to check it out, because you don’t want to miss it! Today I am finally recapping parts of our trip we took a couple of weeks ago with our family. We stopped in New Mexico for a couple of days and were able to visit Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos and saw some stunning views, immersed ourselves in the Native American culture, and tasted the best and hottest chili or our lives. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Check out my 5 Things You Must Absolutely Do When You Visit New Mexico when traveling with a toddler.
