Until We Meet Again

Last weekend I attended the Athleta event benefiting the Girls on the Run Foundation in Houston to support the ladies of Houston Fashion Bloggers rock the runway. You can learn more about the event here. I was so excited to wear my Until We Meet Again Blouse I received from Jane Dive Boutique. What I loved about it was for my petite figure (i’m 5’2″) I was able to wear it as a dress. The long split sleeves is great for transition this piece into the fall. For the event I styled this dress with a boho appeal. I paired this outfit with one of my favorite beaded statement necklace you will see in my older post. Unfortunately it is sold out, however I did post the link just in case they restock it. I also paired it up with one of my favorite floppy hats and fringe purse. Off the shoulder and fringe are two summer trends I plan to transition into the fall. I just love it so much, I can’t part with it just yet.

After the event though I realized how difficult it was to keep it off the shoulder without it becoming to restricting with your arms. I wanted to get some more wear from this piece so I played around with different ways to wear it. For my Phi Mu advisor meeting I decided to style it as a blouse with some dark skinny jeans and black open toe booties. I didn’t realize how versatile this top was until then. I loved how it casually falls off one shoulder, and when you move the sleeve above your elbow it creates a puffed sleeve affect. This was the perfect semi casual outfit to represent my sorority as an advisor.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this top from Jane Divine Boutique, and it has definitely become one of my top fall staples because of its versatility. So until we meet again check out the rest of my outfit below!
