Kendra Scott Fundraiser for Santa Fe – A Little Goes a Long Way

Happy Monday everyone! Hope ya’ll had a great weekend! Today I just wanted to recap my Kendra Scott event I had three weeks ago to help raise money for Santa Fe school shooting victims. I have so many people to thank, including everyone who came out, to all the amazing bloggers who partnered up for this event, and to all the brands who donated their time and service to make this a fun event for everyone. I also wanted to share a little Monday motivational thought on how a little act of service can make a difference in this world. And though we may not see the eventual outcome, I consider our actions like a drop in an ocean that creates a continuing and ever-growing ripple. We are that drop in the ocean that is part of a huge wave that will make a difference in this world. Read more of my recap and thoughts below.

Yellow Seersucker Dress – #NationalBFFday Kendra Scott Event

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! So today I wanted to share this beautiful dress I wore last year in New York City. For some reason it never made it on the blog, but I stumbled upon it and I had to share. Summer is right around the corner and this dress is the perfect vacation dress, plus it has the cutest bow back! I also wanted to share a fun event I am hosting with Kendra Scott and some of my favorite Houston bloggers. This event will help benefit Santa Fe school shooting victims, by donating 20% of the proceeds to the Santa Fe Memorial Fund. Mother’s Day Out With Kendra Scott Color Bar Party

Earlier this month I teamed up with some of my favorite mommy bloggers Megan and Margret, and photographer Ashley of Hey Pretty Baby Photography to host the relaunch of Kendra Scott’s color bar. It was a fun event for the family where we had painting cookies for the kiddos, and sweet mimosas for the mammas. It was a fun mother’s day out with our kiddos and family, and we are so glad they could be part of this event with us. We donated 15% of the proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network for a total of $860 for two hours of our event. Aside from their gorgeous jewelry, Kendra Scott is one of my favorite companies to work with because of their philanthropic business partnerships. It was truly a pleasure to be able to do this again with them. (View last event here.) Holiday Blogger Brunch with Baybrook

Last week I had the privileged of hosting the first ever holiday blogger brunch with my wonderful co-host Megan from Meg O on the Go at the new Baybrook outdoor expansion. We brought together fifteen local bloggers in the area for a fun shopping party at the new Anthropology and then a quick stop to Charming Charlie’s, and then our last stop was a wonderful hosted brunch by Maggiano’s. We can’t thank our sponsors enough for making this event so wonderful, and for everyone who came out. We also are so thankful for our wonderful bloggers who donated a toy for the toy drive in partnership with Maggiano’s toy drive for the holidays. Kendra Scott Gives Back Party Benefiting Children’s Miracle Network

Last weekend I hosted my first ever blogger event benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network at Kendra Scott in Baybrook. I partnered up with Kendra Scott, Sweets by Syd, Kroger, Big Ass Balloons, Rise Cupcakes, HEB, Tiny Prints to throw this beautiful event. I am still in shock by the amount of success we had that night. We raised over $1689 dollars in less than three hours for Children’s Miracle Network. I am so thankful for everyone who came to support this event. It really means a lot to me. As you know in my previous post giving back to the community has always been important to me, and I am so thankful I can use my platform as a blogger help certain organization in need like Children’s Miracle Network.
