It still all seems so surreal to me, but I just finished my video recap (you can watch here) and it was in fact very much REAL, and one of the best experiences of my life. Today I’m going to share my last day at NYFW and the perfect fall outfit I took at the Flatiron and running around the city.

    Happy Labor Day!

For those who follow my Instagram and watch my Instagram then you might already know I am headed to New York Fashion Week this week! It has been a crazy whirlwind of a month, as I didn’t even plan on going. I think I would have felt super guilty for leaving my family if it wasn’t a work related trip with everything that’s been going on down here in Houston. Plus unless you have sponsors, it gets pretty pricey to go with clothes and travel expenses. Well long story short last month probably the end of July I started getting invites and offers from PR companies and brands I worked with for NYFW. I was fortunate to have my outfits sponsored for NYFW and to be able to work with an amazing hotel and restaurants for my NYFW City guide. I’m also excited to have an opportunity to work with some top beauty brands and share behind the scene looks for the runway shows. I will be sharing the full schedule details in the next post. But today I want to share what I am wearing to NYFW and 3 tips for staying organized while packing.

11 Tips for a Day at Disney with a Toddler

Thank you Disney World for partnering up with me this post.  As always all thoughts and opinions are mine alone. Thank you for supporting those who support this blog.

Alright guys so here is the second travel guide of our trip this past month. We had the opportunity to partner up with Disney for a fun-filled day with our family visiting the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom. We picked those two parks because they were my favorite the last time I went, and the most kid friendly for Jayden, meaning we would have plenty opportunities to meet Mickey! Plus we only had one day so we didn’t want to over exert ourselves. We really enjoyed our time and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better first trip to Disney with Jayden. I mean as a mom you always fear the worse, meaning complete breakdowns in the park with an over exhausted in patient toddler, but we were lucky that day, because non of that happened. Honestly I can attribute a lot of that to careful planning and these tips here. Here are 11 Tips for a Day at Disney with a Toddler.

This month if I’ll be sharing all about our road trip and tips and tricks with traveling with a toddler. It really was such an amazing vacation, and very relaxing to unplug, connect with my family, and enjoy our surroundings. Now to be fair we only have one kiddo and for the most part he was very entertained just being outside and playing in the pool or at the beach. So let’s get back to the road trip, yep 36 hours on the road with our little guy and we survived. Haha I’m being dramatic when I say survived because we had a great time on the road. So what did Jayden do the whole time while we drove with no iPad or iPhone to entertain him? Well let me tell you. Here are some tips and tricks to an iPad/iPhone free road trip with a toddler.

30A Travel Guide- Seaside, Rosemary, & Alys Beach

Hey guys so my the first of my travel videos and guide is up from our vacation. We visited three little beach towns Seaside, Rosemary, and Alys Beach, literally minutes from each other you could walk or bike from one town to the next. Each town had its own personality and vibe and if you are in the area I highly recommend to visit. It is a 9 hour drive from Houston, and the perfect vacation spot for families. This is our second time in the area because we absolutely love it, and I am sure we will be returning soon as it is one of our favorite vacation spots. Check out my 30A travel guide as I break down the top things to do at my favorite beach towns, where to stay, and places to eat. I also recommend watching the video as the pictures don’t do this trip justice! Plus you can see my boys making fart noises through video because of course boys will be boys right lol?

Weekend Travel Guide to New Orleans + Travel Vlog

    Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Late post for this mama as we spent all day with the family yesterday and we didn’t get home till midnight. Today I am finally sharing my video blog of our fun weekend girls trip earlier this month and all my recommendations for when you go to New Orleans. I am so thankful to have partnered up with the New Orleans Convention & Visitor Bureau and their partners for this fun trip. I took my mom and my sister for their first time and they had a blast. My mom even had her first frozen hurricane on Bourbon Street. New Orleans will always be one of my favorite cities. I have been their five times and I always find something new that I love. It is such a wonderful city full of history, culture, beautiful  Southern architecture, and the best creole food (my favorite!). So check out my video blog and my weekend travel guide to New Orleans below! Continue reading
