Finally sharing our last and final travel guide with you of our vacation. We visited old friends in Jupiter, Florida and had such an amazing time. What I love about Jupiter, Florida is it is a hidden gem on the west coast. Known for its high-profile celebrity residents, the best PGA golfing, and beautiful serene beaches, this is the town you visit when you want to escape from the touristy areas of Florida. This is where you can enjoy a relaxing vacation on a private beach and escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life and feel at home in this quaint little beach town. Check out more of our wonderful vacation to Jupiter, Florida in this complete travel guide below!

Alright guys so here is the second travel guide of our trip this past month. We had the opportunity to partner up with Disney for a fun-filled day with our family visiting the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom. We picked those two parks because they were my favorite the last time I went, and the most kid friendly for Jayden, meaning we would have plenty opportunities to meet Mickey! Plus we only had one day so we didn’t want to over exert ourselves. We really enjoyed our time and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better first trip to Disney with Jayden. I mean as a mom you always fear the worse, meaning complete breakdowns in the park with an over exhausted in patient toddler, but we were lucky that day, because non of that happened. Honestly I can attribute a lot of that to careful planning and these tips here. Here are 11 Tips for a Day at Disney with a Toddler.
This month if I’ll be sharing all about our road trip and tips and tricks with traveling with a toddler. It really was such an amazing vacation, and very relaxing to unplug, connect with my family, and enjoy our surroundings. Now to be fair we only have one kiddo and for the most part he was very entertained just being outside and playing in the pool or at the beach. So let’s get back to the road trip, yep 36 hours on the road with our little guy and we survived. Haha I’m being dramatic when I say survived because we had a great time on the road. So what did Jayden do the whole time while we drove with no iPad or iPhone to entertain him? Well let me tell you. Here are some tips and tricks to an iPad/iPhone free road trip with a toddler.
Hey guys so my the first of my travel videos and guide is up from our vacation. We visited three little beach towns Seaside, Rosemary, and Alys Beach, literally minutes from each other you could walk or bike from one town to the next. Each town had its own personality and vibe and if you are in the area I highly recommend to visit. It is a 9 hour drive from Houston, and the perfect vacation spot for families. This is our second time in the area because we absolutely love it, and I am sure we will be returning soon as it is one of our favorite vacation spots. Check out my 30A travel guide as I break down the top things to do at my favorite beach towns, where to stay, and places to eat. I also recommend watching the video as the pictures don’t do this trip justice! Plus you can see my boys making fart noises through video because of course boys will be boys right lol?
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Late post for this mama as we spent all day with the family yesterday and we didn’t get home till midnight. Today I am finally sharing my video blog of our fun weekend girls trip earlier this month and all my recommendations for when you go to New Orleans. I am so thankful to have partnered up with the New Orleans Convention & Visitor Bureau and their partners for this fun trip. I took my mom and my sister for their first time and they had a blast. My mom even had her first frozen hurricane on Bourbon Street. New Orleans will always be one of my favorite cities. I have been their five times and I always find something new that I love. It is such a wonderful city full of history, culture, beautiful Southern architecture, and the best creole food (my favorite!). So check out my video blog and my weekend travel guide to New Orleans below! Continue reading →
Let me first say our marriage is far from perfect. Everyday we learn something new about each other, we face new obstacles, and like any marriage there is no secret it takes a lot of hard work to keep it going. And since we’ve had Jayden, it definitely has changed everything. (Read How Our Marriage Survived the First Year as Parents.) As parents we find things that work for our family and find creative ways to keep the fire alive. One of our secrets, is enjoying weekends away like the staycation we recently had at the Woodlands Resort. There is nothing more amazing than getting to stay out all night, sleep in all day, and literally do nothing but eat and play all day. It is truly glorious. Check out our video and a recap of our stay below! Continue reading →
This past weekend my family and I went to attend the annual Bluebonnet Festival in Chappell Hill, Texas. Last time I went was seven years ago before I had Jayden. I don’t think I appreciated it as much or had as much fun as I do now that I have my own kiddo to enjoy the festival with. There is definitely so much to do at the festival, and if you plan to go, you can make a day of it. Below are 7 things to do at the Bluebonnet Festival. Plus another giveaway!
Hope you had a great weekend! So if you follow me on my Instagram and Snapchat, then you know how much I love to brunch. Every weekend my interns and I pick a new place in Houston to meet and have brunch. I love getting together with these amazing women where we can talk about our passion for blogging and ways to grow our business. After our meeting we always take pictures, so we love going to places with a great setting for blog photos. So I compiled my list of the most Instagram-worthy brunch spots in Houston, perfect for meeting up with friends and having a photo opportunity after. And who doesn’t love brunch? It’s the best of breakfast and lunch!
