It’s me, your number one fan. I have been since the day I found out I was having you, I knew there was nothing I wanted more than you. To see you grow, to see you flourish, to see you become the man God has destined you to be. I could only imagine when you were growing inside me, what you would look like, what your personality would be, and know that you are here you are more than I could have ever imagined. Is it so wrong for me to think you are the most perfect little being that God has ever created? I am so amazed by you, each and every day. I stare at you while you sleep and I thank God everyday for giving me such a blessing. You are my little angel in disguised, my saving grace. I owe so much of me and who I am now to you. I never knew I could be this strong, love so much, and be who I am today without you.
So excited to finally share one of my favorite gingham dresses. And you can probably tell why. I can’t get enough of the bow detail! One thing about this dress is that it is under $15! Can you believe that? It is definitely a steal. I wore this when we went to the farmer’s market in Stuart. I lived here for two years and I’ve always loved this small little beach town. I took these pictures in front of my favorite wine bar the Blue Door. If you are ever in the area you should definitely check it out! I wore this dress with these cute gold accent sandals for under $20, and my favorite monogrammed straw bag for under $40. Check out the full outfit of this green gingham dress below!
Hope you had a great weekend! Today I am sharing the cutest ruffle pink skirt I wore on vacation when we strolled down Worth Avenue. If you’ve never been, it is the Beverly Hills of Florida. Their you can shop top name designers like Chanel, Cartier, and if you want you can even buy a yacht there too. This skirt was the perfect summer skirt to dress up with this lace off the shoulder top to wear while strolling down Worth Ave. I wore my favorite lace up summer block heels and accessorized with this fun embroidered clutch and tassel earrings! Check out the full look with this pink ruffle skirt below!
First of all I am really excited to share these photos with you I took with Olya Helga Photography when we were on vacation, one because they are absolutely stunning, and two because it was out of my comfort zone. Now if ya’ll know me it is rare for me to hold a straight face without either smiling or laughing. My husband or my friends are usually the ones that take my pictures for my blog because I feel the most comfortable with them. I usually get awkward around other photographers or stiff in my posing. I always wanted to be able to pose like those girls in Vogue, but every time I did, my husband would always ask me why I looked mad lol. So when this photo shoot came a long I remember jokingly telling our photographer Olya I wanted to look like those models she photographs. And by the end of our shoot she had me doing all kinds of poses, unlike me at all. I remember laying their on a rock, a little awkward and uncomfortable and questioning myself, “are you sure I don’t look weird?” I was in shock when I got these back because I never thought I had it in me to pose like that. But I guess this shows you what having an amazing photographer will get you, and just having a little faith how life will surprise you when you step out of your comfort zone.
This month if I’ll be sharing all about our road trip and tips and tricks with traveling with a toddler. It really was such an amazing vacation, and very relaxing to unplug, connect with my family, and enjoy our surroundings. Now to be fair we only have one kiddo and for the most part he was very entertained just being outside and playing in the pool or at the beach. So let’s get back to the road trip, yep 36 hours on the road with our little guy and we survived. Haha I’m being dramatic when I say survived because we had a great time on the road. So what did Jayden do the whole time while we drove with no iPad or iPhone to entertain him? Well let me tell you. Here are some tips and tricks to an iPad/iPhone free road trip with a toddler.
Happy Friday! Did ya’ll catch my 30A Travel Guide? You might have seen a glimpse of this dress so I am going to share the full look with you today. I received so many compliments on this dress while I was in Alys Beach. It is by far one of my favorite maxi dresses for two reasons: one, its yellow (my favorite color), and two it is the perfect length. I don’t have to worry about stepping on my dress. Thats a win, win for us shorties, because it’s rare for me to find a maxi dress I don’t need platform heels in. Check out this full look of my Tickle Me Picnic Embroidery Yellow Maxi Dress below. The perfect yellow maxi for under $60 for your next beach vacation.
