    Happy hump day everyone!

This week is literally flying by, and I did stay up super late so I could share this adorable spring outfit perfect for Easter or a day at the beach. I also wanted to talk to you guys about the importance of finding your unique style as a fashion blogger in this heavily saturated industry. Lets face it, it seems like there are a million and one fashion bloggers out there, and several of them working for the same companies, getting the same product to advertise. It can get very discouraging seeing one blogger, copy another blogger, posting the same outfit down from the same dress and shoes and calling it their own. Thank you TurboTax  for sponsoring this post.  As always all thoughts and opinions are mine alone. Thank you for supporting those who support this blog.

coffee shop, barbazzar, bauble bar, lace up espadrilles, cut off shorts, camo jacket

When I found out I would be filing taxes as a self-employed blogger for the first time this year I automatically became overwhelmed with stress. I mean the stress that makes you freak out because you don’t know what the heck you are doing. I knew nothing about filing taxes as a self-employed business owner, and I was overwhelmed about the whole process. Plus, I had a million questions: how do I track my expenses, what can I write off, how do I calculate my taxes? All valid questions for any first time self-employed business owner. And as a mom on top of being  self-employed business owner, taxes are the last thing you want to stress about. Continue reading

5 Blogger Groups Every Blogger Needs to Join

This Saturday I reunited with some of my favorite blogger babes for our annual Blog Societies Brunch. The Blog Societies is one of many blog groups I am part of. It is a great community of bloggers from all over the country who share the same passion for blogging. As a blogger, one of my Top 10 Tips to Success for First Time Bloggers is to join blogger groups. Joining blogger groups helps you surround yourself with like-minded individuals, who are also working towards the same goals you are. It is a great way to make friends, ask for help, and to network with other bloggers. Without all my blogger friends I made along the way I would’t be where I am today. There are so many different blogger groups out there, but here are five blogging groups every blogger needs to join.

10 Tips to Success for First Time Bloggers

This year I reached some blogging milestones. I had my first post published in Huffington Post. I am now getting paid for post on my blog and my Instagram. It isn’t as glamorous as it may seem on social media, and it can be a full-time job for those who pursue it as a career. I was able to experience success in the business aspect of blogging, but it wasn’t easy. But through my own trial and error here are ten tips to success that will help you in your first year blogging. Continue reading
