Travel Diaries – Lone Star Court

Last weekend we had the privilege to stay at the Lone Star Court in Austin courtesy of the hotel. It was a fun, family trip to celebrate my mom’s birthday and to visit my brother who lives in Austin. The hotel coincidently was the perfect location for us to stay at in Austin. We were five minutes from my brother’s new place and walking distance to the best shopping and dining at the Domain. Summer Basics – Black Lace Crop Top

Last night, I celebrated one of my dear friend and sorority sister’s engagement. I love nothing more than celebrating love, and it makes me so happy for my friends to find someone they want to spend the rest of their life with. Especially with my wedding anniversary coming up next week. It took me twenty-six years to find my soul mate, but nothing makes me happier than knowing I will be spending the rest of my life with him. Last weekend we went for date day in Galveston, just my hubby and I. By the way if you don’t know ninety percent of the time he is the man behind the camera when it comes to my blogging pictures. Hey guys, hope you are having a great week! Since I’ve gotten back from my trip last weekend, the little man and I have been under the weather these past couple of days. As a mom, tank dresses are a comfortable and cool alternative to shorts in this Texas summer heat. I wore this outfit on our road trip to Austin this past weekend. Rose and White with Dainty Jewell’s

Back home from a fun weekend trip with the family to Austin, and now planning our next trip in two weeks! Our next trip I will be attending my first ever Phi Mu Convention in Chicago. I can’t wait to be surrounded by my beautiful sisters from around the nation for this amazing weekend event. One thing I love about being in a sorority is the fashion. Every day is a series of different events and different attire for each event. Saturday we have a morning of business meetings, followed with a formal Carnation Ball in the evening. Last weekend I attended a Pinterest workshop with the best Houston Bloggers at City Center. It was really informative, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to increase their traffic.
