Can you believe it’s June already? I can with this rising Texas heat. But that also means time to bring out our summer whites. I found this sexy tassel dress shopping at one of my new favorite online stores Asos. If you’ve never shopped there, they have the cutest and trendiest styles for a great price. And as a momma on a budget that is always a plus. This dress is the best combination of my two favorite summer trends: tassels and off the shoulder. You can’t beat that especially for the price! This dress was on sale for less than $25! It’s really low stock so I linked a similar one here. I bought the XS, because I am really petite, but they also have a XXS available! 5 Minute Daisy Dukes Leg Workout

Summer is just around the corner, and that means shorts, dresses, and tan lines. Who doesn’t want nice toned legs and a tan all at the same time? Last weekend I did a fun 5 minute leg workout outside with my little guy and our pup. It really kicked my butt and I only did one set, but it was nice to sweat outside for a bit and go for a little swim after in our kiddy pool outside. Check out our workout video below. P.S. The Best Off the Shoulder Dresses for under $50

Who is ready for the weekend? I know I am! I can’t wait to spend some time at the beach with my family this weekend. This past week I’ve been hooked on a new series on Netflix, Switched at Birth. I found myself one night up till 4 am in the morning watching the series instead of blogging, or even better yet I should be sleeping lol. This weekend I’ve rounded up some of my favorite off the shoulder dresses, including the one below for under $50! I found this one last year online and it has been one of my favorite off the shoulder dresses. I get tons of compliments on it every time I wear it. This past weekend I attended my dear friend Brittany from Hello Honey Blog’s one year blog anniversary. She is one of my favorite mommy blogger and one of the most beautiful girls inside and out. How to Wear a Swing Dress

Last weekend my family and I went Galveston to walk the strand. We took Jayden to the train museum, because he loves Thomas the Train and all things train related. We literally read the same Thomas the Train books every night before he goes to bed. I remember being a kid and loving the Thomas the Train series too. I guess he must get it from his mama! ;P I wore this fun floral swing dress to the strand and received so many compliments. This is one of those dresses, that if it was still there a week later it was meant to be. I first saw it at the Galleria Forever 21, but I told myself if I found it at the one in Baybrook location then it was meant to be. Sure enough a week later there was a small left at the Baybrook location so I snagged it before it was sold out. It isn’t online but I liked similar styles below. Sweet Paris + Monogrammed Tote Giveaway

Monogrammed Must Haves for Summer

Hey guys, who is excited for pool parties, cold drinks, watermelon, going to the beach, and everything else associated with summer? I know I am! When I use to live in Florida, you would find me at the beach ever chance you got. I lived so close I would run to the beach from my apartment. Now that I live back in Houston and with a little toddler in tow, the neighborhood pool, or a weekend trip to Galveston is where we spend most of our summer. Inside Magnolia Market + Video Tour

Last month my hubby and I took Jayden for a fun little weekend trip to Dallas to visit family. You can see that post here. Before we went to Dallas we made a pit stop to Magnolia Market in Waco. I am a big fan of Fixer Upper and I couldn’t wait to find me something to decorate my office. Last time we went the store was closed so we were only able to see the outside. Know Your Worth – A Tribute to Motherhood

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I want to address an issue that 99% of Mama’s are afflicted with on a daily, and that is “Mom’s guilt”. You know that feeling you get when you want to do something just for yourself (like going to the bathroom alone) but some how feel guilty for whatever reason it may be, because for some reason after you become a mom, personal privacy is a thing we can feel guilty about. So here’s to one day out of the year where we mom’s can shed the guilt and feel worthy of every selfish thing possible.

Can you believe it’s May already? I can’t believe how fast April flew by! We have Mother’s Day just around the corner and Cinco De Mayo coming up this week. This Saturday I reunited with some of my favorite blogger babes for our annual Blog Societies Brunch. The Blog Societies is one of many blog groups I am part of. It is a great community of bloggers from all over the country who share the same passion for blogging. As a blogger, one of my Top 10 Tips to Success for First Time Bloggers is to join blogger groups. Joining blogger groups helps you surround yourself with like-minded individuals, who are also working towards the same goals you are. It is a great way to make friends, ask for help, and to network with other bloggers. Without all my blogger friends I made along the way I would’t be where I am today.
