Hope you are having a great week. Let’s just first preface by saying I am not usually a morning person. I am a hot mess mama usually running 5 to 10 minutes late to everything. But I decided I needed to make a change because it was becoming stressful rushing to everything and not having my thoughts together before I started my day. So I thought I would share some tips that have helped me have a positive start to my day. Today I teamed up with Tom’s of Maine to share 5 morning habits to start your morning right.
Can you believe it we are already half way through the month! I am so excited for all the fun Fall activities we are having this month. But I am even more excited to be sharing it with my little man. I love this stage we are in. I told my husband for the first time in I finally feel like I have this motherhood thing down and it feels so good. I am not one of those people where motherhood came easily. I was never fond of the newborn stage, but this stage has to be my favorite. It is a new adventure with my little man. I love watching him learn, and talk, and show me things from his perspective. I love his energy, his joyful spirit, and his sweet love for his momma. It honestly makes my day when he gives me all those sweet kisses and hugs, and tells me “Momma thank you so much,” for the little things like getting him a cookie or taking him to the pumpkin patch. He melts my heart every day, and I am so thankful to be his momma. There truly is something special about being a boy mom, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Today I am sharing our fall checklist and the things we look forward to doing this month.
Last weekend my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful date night together thanks to my wonderful mother in law for watching Jayden for the night. Since my husband works two weeks straight and at night, I hardly get one on one time with him. One thing I value is our date nights we have together, and since we co-sleep it is one night we have to ourselves and when Jayden has a sleep over with his grandparents. Today I am sharing why date nights are important to me and this slip dress I wore to our date night. Plus some of my favorite slip dresses under $50.
I am so excited to share my New York Fashion Week Travel Guide for Bloggers on a budget. Today I am changing it up with a fun outdoor workout you can do at your local outdoor track and field. My family and I are outdoor people and we love being outside whether it’s playing soccer, baseball, or going for family walks. If you have an active toddler like I do, these 7 bleacher exercises for a full body workout are great for the whole family. Jayden literally kicked his soccer ball down the isles and kept himself busy why I did this workout as you can see him in the video. He had so much fun he didn’t want to leave. But after one round of this I was exhausted lol. So if you want a full body workout try these 7 bleacher exercises. Watch the full video and read the description below! Continue reading
Today I am going to pick up from my last post with Saturday’s recap at New York Fashion Week part two with this stunning sequin romper. This was probably one of my favorite night with my girls. It was definitely an NYFW experience for the books for this mom blogger from Texas. Check out all the details and this girl’s night out look below.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I’m sharing the details of the first half of my Saturday at NYFW, and these amazing red wide leg pants and lace bodysuit combo. This was one of my favorite looks for New York Fashion Week and my second most photographed look. I loved the bright color and flowy nature of these wide leg pants. This look was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad I wore it because it help me recreate the ever popular power suit trend which was still very much a statement at the Taoray Wang show. Read more about this outfit, my day, and my fifteen seconds of fame and how I got to be part of a segment on E below!
