Sorry for the late post! It’s been a very eventual couple of days with it snowing in Houston, plus I’m sharing some excited news and BIG things happening soon on Instastories. Make sure to check it out, because you don’t want to miss it! Today I am finally recapping parts of our trip we took a couple of weeks ago with our family. We stopped in New Mexico for a couple of days and were able to visit Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos and saw some stunning views, immersed ourselves in the Native American culture, and tasted the best and hottest chili or our lives. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Check out my 5 Things You Must Absolutely Do When You Visit New Mexico when traveling with a toddler.
Sorry I missed Wednesday’s post. With the snow day we had, and some really exciting news I had, it through me off schedule. But today is a special day because our little man turns three today! I cannot believe how time flies when you have kids. I just can’t believe how big Jayden is getting. This past year he has done tumbling, soccer, snowboarding, and currently in swimming, and next month he will start t-ball! This year will definitely be an active one for our little guy. He has so much energy, and he is such a team player. I am one proud momma to see my little guy grow up to be such a smart and sweet little boy. He amazes me everyday with everything he does, and he certainly pushes us to be the best parents we can be. This past month my husband and I went over some family goals we had for this New Year, and today on the blog I am sharing those goals with you plus our beautiful family pictures in Colorado! Can you believe this is a frozen lake behind us? Check out more below! Continue reading
I hope ya’ll had a great weekend! After your suggestion and interest on Instastories, I decided I would round-up my best purchases of 2017 and review all the items for ya’ll. These items I couldn’t stop wearing, and I felt I got my money’s worth because of the quality and overall use of these items. I highly recommend each and every one of these items, and I go in more detail of why in the video above. This is my first YouTube video of the year, and I am excited to share with you my review of the best purchases of 2017.
Last week I did a Q&A on Instastories about what to bring when going skiing or snowboarding or traveling in the mountains where it is below freezing and snow and ice everywhere. There are so many things I learned when it comes to staying warm, keeping your skin hydrated and from cracking in the higher and dryer altitudes, and the shoes you need from slipping and sliding off the mountains. Yep I fell a couple of times on my butt wearing the wrong kind of shoes. I definitely over packed and brought a lot of things I didn’t even wear, because lets face it when it’s below freezing, and you are running around tubing, snowboarding, and hiking, practicality comes first over fashion. So today I rounded up the absolute winter essentials you need to bring for your next snow trip.
I’ve been dying to share with you this adorable bell sleeve crochet top from Evereve. They sent this to me in one of their TRENDSEND boxes and I instantly fell in love! I can’t get over the sleeve detail, plus it is the perfect blush pink for Valentine’s Day. Can you believe Valentine’s Day is only a month away? Check out how I styled this bell sleeve crochet top below!
Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! I am officially back with my first post of the year. We had a wonderful family vacation and I can’t wait to share more with you. But today I wanted to share one of my favorite trends for winter and why you should invest in it. Teddy Bear coats are the softest coats you could own and perfect for the cold. I’m sharing one of my favorite casual winter outfit with this cute pink teddy bear coat and rounded up my top ten teddy bear coats for winter!
Can you believe we are only a couple of days from the New Year. This is officially my last post of the year! Today I just wanted to round-up some of my favorite moments and some milestones I am very proud of with my blog. This year was a big one, and it was a year of first, from my first sponsored international trip, to my first trip to New York Fashion Week and getting to be a hair extra on E News with Marianna Hewitt! I was able to accomplish so many of my goals including doubling my Pinterest, and Instagram following, to reaching 10k views on one of my YouTube videos! I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a talent agent, partnered in some amazing events, and even tripled my blogging income! But most of all I was able to grow my brand, and grow my network by meeting so many amazing people along the way. I honestly couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone who has followed along on this journey. So thank you, thank you for being part of this journey with me and I hope you enjoy this recap of my blogging year in 2017.
We are officially off on our holiday vacation. You can keep up with us and our trip on Instagram or on Facebook. Today I am sharing what we are bringing on our trip and these Sorel boots that I will be taking with me. I can’t believe we will be in snow and in the mountains for the whole week and for New Years. We made sure to pack extra layers and cold weather accessories to keep us warm and dry on our trip. Check out our holiday vacation packing list below.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I am changing up my posting schedule these next two weeks as I will be gone on vacation with my family.
